Skin Pressure Care Training / Learning Course
The Pressure Ulcer Care Training Course will be presented using a Microsoft Power Point presentation on a projector screen, a video and other training aids that are all supplied on the day by the course instructor, hand outs are also supplied along with certification.
This training course is aimed at people who are currently or are seeking to work within the Health Care Industry and has the following aims and objectives for the participants;

- To gain a basic understanding of the structure of the skin.
- To identify types and positions of pressure ulcers.
- To identify the grades of pressure ulcers.
- Recognise risk factors in the development of pressure ulcers.
- Recognise signs of infection.
- Identify prevention methods.
