The Stroke Course aims to provide those working within the Care Industry with an in-depth knowledge about Strokes, its symptoms, treatments and side effects.
The course will be presented using a Microsoft Power Point presentation on a projector screen, a video and other training aids that are all supplied on the day by the course instructor, hand outs are also supplied along with certification.
Aims & Objectives
 At the end of this course you will be able to understand the meaning of the term stroke and identify the various types of stroke.
Understand the role and function of the brain and identify the causes, who is at risk and the symptoms of stroke.
You will also gain knowledge of the treatments and rehabilitation methods for stroke. |
